Description

The inimitable master renders the most terrifying Punisher imaginable without even showing him. Not drawn so much as hewn out of the surface of the page with pen, brush, ink, razor blade and whiteout. All the more remarkable when you feel the paper itself, which is best described as ephemeral.

Great description. Was originally my page in trading Punisher art with Zaffino through Dixon in the 90's. Sold it in 2012. Glad you have it :-).

Ephemera: items of collectible memorabilia, typically written or printed ones, that were originally expected to have only short-term usefulness or popularity.
I saw a guy with a Punisher T-shirt on today. Asked him if he read the comics. He said no. Asked him if he saw the Netflix series. He said no, but he did see the movie. Although this page itself may be so, the Punisher is becoming less ephemeral every day!
