Description

Badtime Stories. Page 3 from "The Last Hunters" (Graphic Masters, 1972). Wash on Craftint board.

The story was subsequently reprinted in Back for More (Archival Press, 1978), Pacific Comics' Berni Wrightson: Master of the Macabre #3 (August 1983) in color, and The Reaper of Love and Other Stories (Fantagraphics, 1988).

The first half of the 1970s was truly Berni Wrightson's magic period.
