DescriptionThis was done for the Jim Lee charity auctions a couple of years ago.Love the details in this drawing. Just so many things to appreciate here but for me, I love how Arthur is able to convey light from the flower shinning on Death. We see the shadow of Death's figure being cast on the tombstone. Really amazing!!!! Was lucky to take this down. Apologies to you Justin. Social/Sharing |

The use of color on the flowers adds an extra artistic touch to Arthur's take on Death and how "she" is involved in the "circle of life".

You know this fantastic work of art wouldn't exist if it wasn't for me right. And you also would have paid a heck of alot less if it wasn't for me ;) In all serious, this is just a wonderful piece. And if I would have won it the Death by Jim Lee piece might not have existed so everything worked out the way it was supposed to. But do please keep me in mind if you ever have the need to sell it. I would give her a great home. Congrats again my friend!

Unbelievable! There's so much going on in this piece. Love the halo, her expression, the smiley face buttons, her delicate necklaces, rips in her jeans...I can go on and on as I keep staring at this Adam's masterpiece! Thanks for sharing!

I talk about this piece often, to anyone that dares listen to me. I reminisce about it, like a lost childhood friend. One of only 3 pieces that I bid seriously on from that series - an absolute stunner. Congrats!

Captured the essence of the character perfectly. You can tell by all the thought put in to this one in regards to concept, pose, composition, and environment that he really wanted to knock this one out of the park without resorting to cleavage.

I remember this piece well and it really stood out amongst a long list of amazing contributions to the Jim Lee comic shops fund raiser. The symmetry, black and white around the color, and Art Adams masterful work is a beauty to behold. Congrats, thanks for sharing!

Don't think I've seen too many Arthur Adams color pieces before (this might even be the first?), but the use of color here really pops. And spectacular detail rendering as per usual too. Congrats!
