I have loved the paintings of Irina Kessler for 40 years This picture represents the greatest sacrifice made on behalf of mankind. The colors and sincerity of the rendered scene are hypnotic. Kessler no doubt was moved by the Spirit. Thanks for your recognition of this fine work.

Shame on me for not leaving a comment on this fine painting. Being a born again Christian, I feel an extra appreciation and reflection concerning this depiction of our Lord's ultimate sacrifice for mankind. Thanks for sharing this beautiful rendering, buddy and God Bless.

A Good Friday to you all. Remember the repentant thief on the cross beside Jesus. He repented of his sins and asked Jesus to "remember him" when he went to Heaven. (Luke 23:32-43). Jesus took that cross and assured the repentant thief that he would be with Him THAT DAY. :-) There is hope for all of us. +
