DescriptionIn 2021 Bill Galvan approached me with a quite different idea for a Halloween commission: He suggested a hommage to John Severin's two-page spreads in Cracked with a lot of characters interacting with each other. Normally most artists will have a limit for how many characters they will do in a commission so when Bill actually wanted to do such a thing I had no choice but go along with it...So here is the Spellman family Halloween party with a whopping 39 characters (I think) including the portraits on the wall. And Bill finished it in record time so this was obviously something he really wanted to do. Social/Sharing |

Hard to argue with how well it turned out! It has every bit of humor and artistry of the original! This is a party that's worth celebration!!!
