This has everything you can want in a Buscema Conan cover - the title character standing in a mighty pose with sword in hand, a beautiful woman for Conan to rescue, a powerful background of chaos and destruction, and inks by Sinnott. A perfect Conan cover.

So glad you posted a shot without the overlay. And good decision to frame it that way as well. There shouldn't be anything covering up this masterpiece. As someone who's always wanted a definitive JB piece, I am incredibly envious. Major congrats Dino!

Hot barbarian action pose in the moment before the next bloodshed and heaving bosom alert ....Must be the fire. Its what you do after battle. Wave your sword around in front of ladies. Heat is often blamed for increased agression events. Lol. As a major fan of Robert E Howard, I can safely say that that John is so great he can make this look almost believable. By Crom, I feel like burning down a citadel myself, followed by a prolonged period of celebratory carousing with comely wenches aplenty.

Classic Conan the Barbarian cover by the incredible John Buscema! Big John's work on the Cimmerian is legendary and this cover shows why! Joe Sinnott's inks are the perfect complement to John's pencils. Fabulous pick-up, Dino!
