Fabulous New Mutants cover by Bil Sienkiewicz! I love his linework here from the ear when he was pushing the boundaries of what comic art could look like. It may seem tame today, but at the time a lot of us were startled by Sienkiewicz's bold new style. It was wild, it was different, it was strange. But gradually, we fell in love with Bill's brilliance and his incredible talent. Fantastic pick-up, congrats!

With so many covers from this run being of the painted variety, it's great to see one in traditional pen and ink and this was always a magnificent one, the skill and execution of which stands head and shoulders above anything else around it being done at that time. Fabuloso!

Love this. Everything from Bill during these years were magic. Truly ahead of his time artistically. And when I lived in Hawaii, I shopped at Jelly's for my comics!

Oh, man, straight classic Sin-kev-itch!  Hard to top as a New Mutants OR Bill example!  Great energy, depth, composition, and of course the uber unique stylization is there.  Big congrats, Dino!

A stunning Sienkiewicz!  Such amazing line work. You really get pulled into the image too.  Like, I instinctively lower my eyelids when I look at those bursts and flashes of light, imagining what it would be like to be on the receiving end of all that.  Congrats, Dino!

I remember 11 year old Chris seeing this on the spinner rack and thinking "who likes this art?"

If you were to get a Sienkiewicz, this would be the one. Such a perfect example of his disturbing linework. Congrats, Dino! Another masterful addition to the Mauricio Master Collection.
