Description

My wife, Comfort Love, and I were thinking of ways to come up with fun pin-up images, and something we settled on was the idea of doing a faux-calendar, with each image relating to a month. This was my 'October.'

Heavily influenced by the work of Adam Hughes, this piece was my attempt to try and get more color-depth in my images. I've been alright at working out space, depth of field, and aerial perspectives before, but where this differs is an actual colorization of the background lines to push the whole background away from the fore characters and space.

It was a little hit-or-miss, but I still like how it turned out. A corner has been turned, with this piece, and I'm thinking about color in a whole different way, now.

Oh, and there's a couple hot girls on a rooftop. That's fun, too.
