Description

I had seen Bennett�s art at FallCon art auctions, and also he created the cool-looking MCBA logo. I saw him while attending the 2006 MCBA MicroCon. He was able to do either b&w or color sketches. The color was still within my budget, so I went with that choice. Boy, am I glad I did. It turned out to be one of my favorite pieces of the book.

A couple quirky things about it though � I�m not sure why, but he did the sketch on the other side of the book, so it looks like his was the first sketch of the book if you turned it over. Also, this was the only sketch that I had to do extra work on after picking it up. Bennett told me that I would need to spray the sketch with some kind of sealant, otherwise his pencils would smudge. I went out and bought some right away and did so, and noticed what he meant, as it did smudge a little in the transition stage. Still, I�m super pleased with it.
