What's not to like?

Dave drew this for me at the Angoul�me Festival in France, in 1992 or 1993, don't remember. I had spotted him in the street the day before and had invited him to have lunch, which he accepted. The next day I came back with a Betty Page photo. Turned out Dave had never seen that particular photo. He absolutely loved it and spent about 45 minutes on the "sketch".
During the next few weeks, the idea that Dave might have liked to get the photo was gnawing at me. I hadn't thought of that in the excitement of the moment. I eventually sent the pic to a friend who gave it to Dave during a convention.
