DescriptionI've been going to STGCC for the past few years. They score some pretty big artists for their show. I was gobsmacked when it was announced that Adam would be attending the 2015 edition! I had previously tried to see him at another show in this part of the world at Supernova Perth, but unfortunately his appearance was canceled.I quickly hopped on the emails and Facebook to try and get in contact with Allison to know what he'd be doing for the show. Eventually, Allison announced that Adam would do 3 pre-con sketches and a further 5 pre-con head sketches. These really shouldn't be called sketches by the way! I got in the draw for Adam to pick from. When Allison announced I was picked, I was jumping out of my seat! I have been trying to see the A team for the good part of 8 years. Allison probably can recall my messages and emails trying to get goodies and original art. I've only managed some auctions but to score a personalised sketch is insane! I've always been wanting either Mary Jane or Leia from Adam and I had asked if he could choose whichever one he preferred to do and surprise me! Allison told me that they would be using this piece during the media preview and I couldn't help sneaking a peak on social media! It really didn't matter what he chose, I would be content either way! To say I was delighted when I picked it up would be understating it. But even if I hadn't got anything from Adam, I really just wanted to finally meet him and Allison, even managing a hug or two with Allison. While Adam was swamped with sketches, I really appreciated being able to talk to Allison and just reconfirms how great they are to their fans. From the bottom of my heart, I would like to say thank you and I hope it won't be another 8 years to see you both again. Social/Sharing |

Wonderful! Congratulations! It's always nice to see years of dedication to an art goal finally pay off.

So you're the lucky fan who got this?! Congrats dude! And it was nice meeting you at STGCC although very briefly. I was running around the whole day, lol.
