Loved Mike's run on FF. I remember meeting him in SD during that run, and he had a bunch of great art available for sale. I must've had a half dozen pieces in my hand trying to make up my mind. But being the moron that I am, I ended up buying an X-Men piece instead. Great job on this bust. Would make Jack and Joe proud.

The colors on this are lovely. Not sure if anyone has ever described him as lovely, but here we are, another great addition to your Thing collection! Congrats!

ALWAYS love the watercolor work by McKone. I remember being at a con and taking my Adam Hughes Thing headsketch to a professional colorist I liked to ask if they would be interested in adding color to it, and they looked confused: "It would just be all orange, wouldn't it?" I was kind of stunned that that was the colorist's answer. I love the gradation of the tone and suppleness of touch of the paint in this piece... Mr. McKone does such a great job. But even more than that, look at the size of that FIST. Right there - boom! Great piece, Chris! Congrats!

Nice pickup, Chris! I actually get the feeling that McKone wanted to give it an animation feel!

Man bud, what a great piece. The colors of this are so intense, this is a fantastic McKone.

I always loved McKon'es work and then he went and started doing colors and took things to another level. Mike's color chouces are so good and this really deep/rich saturation on the Thing really fits with his angry scowl. Congrats - this belongs in your collection, so glad you were able to add it.

Man, I gotta get one of these McKone bust pieces. The more and more I see the more and more I'm convinced. A classic looking Ben and love them DEEP reddish orange colors. The subtle white ink spatter at the bottom is a nice touch, too. Congrats, Chris!
