I started collecting comics in third grade when a classmate showed me an issue of Marvel’s Secret Wars. Then I dug into OHOTMU and pored over all the characters and their profiles. I think both of these things preset me to love Mike Zeck! Anyway, like a lot of kids who read comics I figured I would one day draw them. Taking art courses really made me appreciate the craft of creating comics. That interest is what lead me to original art. My first piece was a Tony Harris Starman (which I still have) but as you can see my collection has grown over the years!
