DescriptionI will be honest and say I had no intention of adding Bianchi to the collection before knocking off a few other artists but fate has it's way of intervening!Long story short, my wife is great at connecting with people. Even famous Italian painters! Thanks obviously to Simone and Matt D but also to Bill and Kasra for an incredible inaugural OAX experience. What to say about the piece... Well I love the expression first and foremost. Second, the palette. Natural and muted tones are not what we often associated with the orange rock guy. It works so well here and several people who saw this in person at OAX commented that it has a certain level of realism to it. I agree! Third, the size. This piece is pretty massive and is going to look incredible hanging in a place of honor in the house. Social/Sharing |

Realism indeed! I love this and it captures Ben so well. I particularly like the brow lifted just enough to see ol blue eye(s) peering right at ya, ya crumb bum!

Really love how much attention he paid to the texture. You can almost imagine what it would feel like to touch this. Great addition to your Thing collection.

You're rising to the top of the list when I'm thinking about OAX OA hauls, man, and this one's got a lot to do with that. Can't believe this was done at the show...looks like real rock on here! That grin, the eyes, ALL them textured colors...a stunner. Big congrats!
