Arthur Adams knocks it out of the park with this powerhouse shot of The Thing! The detail in the rocky texture and the sheer energy in Ben’s pose make this a showstopper.

Heeelllll yes. That thick outline to compliment the thin crevasses and hatching. He's just so GD good.

FANTASTIC piece from Adams. Easy to see why they used it for a variant cover and glad to see this go to your collection.

Art Adams (CHECK)
Thing Cover (CHECK CHECK)
Reference to Dr Seuss' Thing 2 (CHECK CHECK CHECK)
The amount of checks payable to Grant for large sums of cash? 4, but totally worth it.

Holy smokes! What a cool variant cover for Fantastic Four #1 by Arthur Adams! IMHO, Art has always had the ability to draw any character and capture the essence of that character. Take the Thing--The one thing about the Thing is...he always gets in everybody's face. Which is just what this cover does! Love this up-close and personal portrait of Benjamin Grimm. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!

This is such an amazing cover. I love the super strong image of Thing close up and personal. The details are so well done as you would expect from Art Adams but this one is definitly something special. Congrats Chris!
