This is kind of a grail for me. I have loved Alan Davis since I was in grade school reading Excalibur. Obtaining his art is not easy as many of you know. Thanks to Sean for parting with this.

Bursting with power! Perfect depiction of two of Marvel's founding powerhouses - love this, it's just brutal! And what can you say about the incomparable Alan Davis? His work continues to shine after several decades in the industry - a real craftsman whose art STILL has the power to surprise and give pleasure to us old fanboys! :)

Awesome Hulk vs Thing commission from the amazing Alan Davis. What a terrific depiction of a bare knuckles brawl between these two superpowered bruisers! I favor Alan's Thing, covered in thick orange plates with fists of steel. But his Hulk's got a lot going for him with that massive right fist the size of a basketball. Ooo, I wouldn't want to try to break this fight up, I'd be the one who'd get broken. Anyway, fantastic pick-up!
