I had to add something from undisputed ink lord, Matt Allison. This Hex is only a bust but it definitely fit the bill. Just came across this when adding art to a portfolio and realized it wasn't on CAF.

Firstly, I LOVE Jonah Hex. Secondly, after discovering Allison's art jus tyesterday via Tyler T's MCP cover recreation, I've become an immediate fan of his work, particularly his inking style. It may be "only a bust", but what a bust it is!

Jonah Hex makes for an awesome Bust. Looks great. I have a close friend that loves Jonah Hex. I will have to show this one to him. He would love seeing it.

This is excellent Chris! Jonah Hex is a perfect character for Matt Allison. It's like he was meant to draw that side of the face.

The contrast on this is so well done - balancing all that black and white, it really is a great visual depiction of the character.

"I just had this laying around", lol! Digging the contrast with the upper background and shadowed eye blacks vs the rest of the image. Matt definitely doin' his thang! Congrats!

Super JH portrait from Allison! The way he models skin and other surfaces is unmistakable. I can't stop staring whenever I see one of his pieces on CAF --- thanks for posting!
