DescriptionAnother pick up from OAX. I was lucky enough to get the pre-con slot for this during Bill's livestream with Matt and Simone. To say I am impressed with the result is an understatement. We can marvel on and on about Simone's ability to produce what looks like digital art using traditional techniques BUT... What really impresses me is his concepts. The way he stages the figures and the clever compositions, little elements no one would think of. Note here the lettering on the spent shell casings spelling out WINTER SOLDIER. Just incredible. The more I see of Di Meo's work, the more I am just in AWE of the trail he is forging. The detail, texture, and finish he is able to achieve is seriously next level. Congrats!

Holy smokes! What a fabulous Winter Soldier commission! Simone DiMeo is a phenomenal artist and his artistic mastery is beautifully on display here! Gorgeous image of Winter Soldier firing his massive assault rifle and shell casing flying off in all directions! As you note, it's cool the way the shell casings spell out "Winter Soldier" What a memorable souvenir to take home from OAX!

One of Simone's best, and that's saying something. So many goodies coming from lately, including from OAX. Kiler depth with those shells almost framing him, as well as the perspective off the gun. He's standing still but there's so much energy. Man, I gotta get a piece myself soon. Big congrats on this and the whole OAX haul, and it was great seeing you there and catching up for a bit, man!
