Fantastic SLEEPING BEAUTY W\Watercolor by British illustrator John Hassall, dating to the 1920's-30's, for an unidentified British children's book, most likely an anthology with many stories. A gorgeous work by a largely unknown(at least in America) illustraor.

Very interesting piece, John. It's Sleeping Beauty though, not Snow White.

Stu, Hassal is a major British illustrator, probably his most famous piece is one of the all-time classic Art Nouveau posters. Just Google him
