Description

Original preliminary painting/sketch for the first publication of J.R.R. Tolkien'd Lord of the Rings" trilogy, published by Ace Books in the 1960's. I don;t know what happened to the finished paintings, no one I know has seen them or knows where they are, but I do have all three prelims, which were returned to Gaughn. Little jewels.
