Description

Roy Thomas admired this drawing so much that he asked me if he could use it as a potential cover for an upcoming issue of Alter Ego that would feature an article about Joe Giella. Of course I agreed but then Joe decided that he would redraw the piece with the characters slightly rearranged. So this drawing was the inspiration for the cover to Alter Ego issue 52 (Sept 2005).
