DescriptionThese pages were published in March 1968, penciled by Gil Kane and inked by Sid Greene.Hal is summoned by a dying Abin Sur to receive the ring but for the first time, as told elsewhere in this issue, we learn that Guy Gardner was also deemed to be a worthy successor. Hal only won out because he was physically closer to Abin Sur's crash site than Guy was. What are the odds that these two consecutive pages would be up for sale at the same time at two different dealers? Remote, but that's how I got them. Social/Sharing |
