DescriptionI'm going to end my tirade with this Godzilla origin page. San Diego Comic Con is about the only place I deal with the art selection from Coollines Art. Beyond this, the owners of Coollines (I believe they are the Donnelly brothers) can be a little obtuse to deal with. I've never had any final problems with any art purchased from them, but any one else who has dealt with them knows what I mean when I say "obstuse" (at the very least, don't expect an answer back to email questions). I paid $45.00 for this page back in 2003, so realistically, this should be page number 9 in my cheap comic art collection. I have seen pages from Godzilla #1 listed on Ebay now for anywhere from $600.00 to $1,000.00 (listed, not necessarily sold), so I guess thats a HOORAY for me. Apparently, your tip for today on buying cheap comic book art, buy a time machine (we have both the Delorean and Police Box models).Social/Sharing |

Beautiful page!! How come I'm all alone here!!?? Where the Hell is everybody!!?? No love for Herb Trimpe's epic Godzilla!! I agree with your paragraph description also. If by chance you do ever decide to sell this page. Let me know!! GGGGGOOODDDZZZIIILLLAAA!!! Yelled that once when I at a airport in Japan in the mid 80's. Seconds later one a fellow marine who was 7-2 came running out of the bathroom screaming. I'm 6-3 and they thought I was Conan. LOL Then they saw my duddy & really freaked out! Just happy were didn' get arrested! LOL
