DescriptionI ordered this piece (together with the other page from the same run) literary the night before the news came out. Carlos Pacheco was an amazing artist, combining classic influences (mostly Big John) with manga and a dash (just a dash) of Image. Words fail me, not much else to add. Also, you could see Carlos truly loved the back history of the characters he penciled, so respectful of their characters and uniforms. I like to think that this particular half splash is a homage to one of my favourite splashes by the great Sal B. Taibo does a great job on inks here, with lots of nuances and different shades.
