Description

This is a cool 1968 page from Green Lantern #65, penciled by Mike Sekowsky and inked by Joe Giella. Hal Jordan is attacked by Dr. Polaris, who calls him out as Green Lantern. Resigned to the fact that Eve now knows his alter ego, Hal decides to go ahead and use his ring, only to find out it doesn't work. Joe did a great job of inking Mike's pencils on this action page, giving it that classic GL feel.

Motion and action or reaction on every panel! It's wild and out there as you can't see this kind of artwork anywhere else outside of comic books back then.
