DescriptionOne of my very favorite pages from this landmark story. I have to thank Mike Burkey, who has acquired a couple of the books from that story, for allowing me the opportunity to own this page. Thanks for being so easy to work with Mike, and for making art-dreams come true."Kraven's Last Hunt", wow, there are certain story lines that just grab you and don't let go. I remember the first time I read this story like it was yesterday. Certainly this was the Spider-Man story of that decade and one of the best of the last 20 years. Zeck and McLeod, it rolls off the tongue like Lennon and McCartney. They made some of their sweetest music in this story. It's just so damn perfect. This is a page that I have remembered vividly since the day I got ASM #293 off the stands. Now I have a chance to own it. To me, this page is a perfect microcosm of the entire story. The grave site, the tombstone, the black costume, and Kraven. This villain never seemed to get his due, but after this story EVERYONE looked at him differently. Thanks to Zeck and McLeod for creating this masterpiece and thanks to Mike Burkey for giving me a shot at getting my hands on this particular page. Social/Sharing |

Wait a minute. How did you pull this off. This is my favorite comic book story ever and my favorite Spidey villain ever. So it is the Romitaman who owns all these pieces. I was just talking over this story over dinner with Mike Zeck last Thursday. I better save my sheckles and try my luck at getting a piece from this fabulous story. Oh, and by the way, I am adding you piece to my favorites. WHAT A SCORE. Congrats.

While I have mixed feelings about the story, there is no doubting the quality of the art and this is certainly one of the single most memorable set of images these artists created.

The last two panels really show the mad-duality of Kraven's character. A great pick-up Chris!

CHRIS !!!! A sensational page from an epic storyline.
My one regret is that one of Spidey's greatest-ever villains, KRAVEN was killed off, what appears to be permanently !!!!
