That Schultz piece is unbelievable, the Kirby is so Kirby...but this Kubert Tarzan is what really does it for me. Simply awesome.

Joe Kubert's art is obviously admired by most but I think his fans really favor one genre over another when it comes to his work. Some love his work on war stories, some his sci-fi pieces, and then there is his "adventure" art. I myself favor these adventure type pieces he's done as well as his sci-fi art. His work is amazing. A fantastic cover by one of the true masters in the field. Congratulations on this wonderful acquisition Jim!

Like Timothy L., I too really liked Kubert's adventure stories, but that was his main focus when I started reading his books. Still, I also enjoyed the occasional war book that he did (he was mainly doing the covers by then), and his even less frequent forays into mysteries and superheroics.
