DescriptionI just love what Mitchell does with a pencil! Fortunately, he is underappreciated enough that his work is still pretty reasonably priced. This illustration is from the June 12, 1932 issue of The American Weekly, accompanying a story called "Desire" by Madeleine Sharps Buchanan. It has some water damage, but barely enough to detract from the beauty of the artwork!Social/Sharing |

Wow a lot of Mitchell who fortuantely is still priced at a somewht affordable level unlik some of the other pen artists of that era
