Grail Alert!

The story of the Eighth Doctor's companion Izzy (Isabelle) Sinclair, and her intertwined destiny with the poor little (rich) fish-girl Destrii (Primatrix Destriianatos) is not only one the most heart-rending arcs that DWM Comics have produced, but one of the most effective character arcs in British comics in the 2000s. Beautifully told by maestro Scott Gray, penciled and inked by Martin Geraghty (who just gets better and better), with occasional inks by David Roach (other artists contributed individual stories, but, for me, Gray carries this arc). And to cap it all, colours would be by the mighty, mighty Adrian Salmon!

Fabulous stuff. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Here, body swapped Destrii/Izzy and Izzy/Destrii come face to face again on Destrii's home hell-planet of Oblivion...Izzy as a lonely & unhappy closeted teenager, Destrii as a warrior princess abused equally by her mother Matriax Scalamanthia, and Uncle Jodafra...these 2 pages have been separated for over a decade. Thanks to Martin and David for allowing me to reunite them!
