Description

I've wanted an Alan Davis Hulk for awhile and as he rarely accepts commissions, I'd be at the mercy of catching him at a show while having to find one as a portfolio piece he completes before the show. I've been eyeing this piece in Fred C's CAF page for awhile so when I saw him list it during Comic Art LIVE, I knew I had to have it. Now, I'll have to catch Mark Farmer and get him to ink it.

Update: Mark Farmer inked a blue-line version of this for me and it looks absolutely amazing.

Congrats on checking off a big item on the collector list! Powerful rendition of the Jade Giant here for sure. You thinking of getting it directly inked over or doing it on a blue line scan? Can see pro/cons of both! All about preference. But in either case I like the idea!

Thanks K! I definitely prefer inks over pencils but with all the shipping issues these days, I'll likely wait until shows open back up and try to catch Mark or go the blueline inked route. Too amazing a piece to risk losing in mail!

Congratulations on a tremendous Alan Davis and Mark Farmer illustration! I am glad you were able to get Mark Farmer to ink the piece and it is great that you still have the beautiful Alan Davis pencils on a separate board!
