Description(Mixed media on standard Marvel comic board - 11"x 17") I have to sincerely thank Fred for being so kind to part with this amazing piece, it is greatly, greatly appreciated. And I also have to thank a recently acquainted connoisseur of fine art who told me to just go for the pieces I love, so I did! When I first saw this Finch piece last year I was totally floored by it, and I would constantly look at it over and over again on CAF. The piece is phenomenal, I can't get over the brooding mood, the lighting, and the detail! Oh the detail! That Finch chap is one talented guy! =)Social/Sharing |

This is definitely one of Finch's best covers EVER imho. Sincere congrats for that breathtaking acquisition !

Damn... now that is an impressive piece of art. I don't know if I've seen a better depiction of the Moon Knight. The artwork is killer. Congrats!

this is also a great example of David inking his own stuff... probably a tad looser than most inkers would dare to. Definitely a top-notch example of his work. Congrats on adding this to your collection.

David Finch's ability for detail is amazing. Every cover and splash page that he does just screams with emotion. It's impossible to look at this cover and not react. Great piece!

Absolutely amazing! You know, after I first saw this piece in your gallery a few months back, I said, 'note to self, get some Finch!' Well I have finally acquired a couple pieces, and I have to say it started with admiring this gorgeous representation of Moon Knight by David. Thanks for giving my purse another excuse to spend money! Truly a fantastic piece.

Nothing says "I want to draw Batman" like this Finch cover. In my mind, Finch never really had anything to prove, as he did not go through that awkward phase that some artists have where they are trying to find their voice or style. Finch burst onto the scene as a great artist and then became something truly special. You are fortunate to have acquired one of the gems that he created along the way. Congratulations on the piece and acquiring the ever elusive 50 comments!
