Description

This great Titans Blackest Night cover ( image attached below ) which shows Donna Troy holding her lost child has so much potential for a Legion redo. In Legion history, it has been long believed that the child of Saturn Girl and Lightning Lad is touched by the curse of Darkseid at birth and transported back in time to become a member of the Fatal Five as the creature called Validius who beside super strength can cast mental lightning bolts. Jason Metcalf, who I HIGHLY recommend to others for commissions, did a really great job bringing this creepy chapter to life. Saturn Girl comforts her child not knowing what tragedy and heartache lies ahead

Darkseid exudes menace in this piece. Baby Validus is a cute little monster. Great art all around.
