Description

A great and splashy page from the X-Men/Sabertooth special drawn by Gary Frank.

That issue made a big impression on me when I was a teen. First because I have loved Sabertooth as a character since his introduction in Iron Fist 14, second because the ultimate savage hunter being hunted by the X-Men was a thrill and third for the incredible Gary Frank art (under a chromium Michael Golden).

Gary Frank was perfect for the job. His incredible storytelling and his ability to portray craziness and madness suited the character so well. Just look at that first panel. He looks so vicious.

Here we have Sabertooth realizing he is being followed. That last half splash is excellent as he tenses before the upcoming fight.

I've loved g liked Sabretooth more than Wolverine and Gary Frank is awesome. Great page!
