Description

This is an original pen and ink drawing by Virgil Finlay on tracing paper taped to board. This beautiful piece was a prelim for the February 1967 issue if Astrology Magazine and is also seen in "The Astrology Sketchbook." This drawing is fully rendered and is signed V. Finlay below the drawing and is notated "Aquarius - Feb. 1967 Aquatic Nymphs. As always Virgil Finlay provided the beautiful detail for which he was so famous. Three lovely nymphs are the water bearers in the 5 3/4" by 5 3/4" drawing.
