Description(Pencil on back of standard Marvel comic board - 11" x 17") I've been a great fan of Leinil's distinctive pencils since I started buying art, and this cover literally stopped me in my tracks. I actually feel a lot of peace and calmness when I look at this art, and it is a great juxtaposition to the Wolverine pieces where he is being an aggressive fellow. Compositionally and emotionally for me this is outstanding! Great thanks to Kwan for making this acquisition such a pleasure =)Social/Sharing |

You sir are on a role! It's like you're picking my brain... picking up all those pieces I'd love to if I had the funds! First with Finch's stellar painted depiction of Hellboy and now with this wonderfully serene Leinil Wolverine... I'm just forever grateful that seeing as how you're the only person other than I who commented on my Wrightson Grail Hooky cover before I added it to my collection, that you didn't make a play for it too! Congrats on these beauties and thanks for sharing 'em! :)

You are spot on about the powerful contrast between Wolverine's normal cover work and this one - it absolutely is what makes this piece so special and unique...not that I would expect to find anything else in your amazing collection!

Another great addition...and it's by Leinil Yu!! This is almost perfect cover, my friend. This cover could be perfect if wolverine were holding incense instead of a candle....I know tihs doesn't mean anything to most of ther westerners, but I guess I am way too Japanese.

Yu draws the best Wolverine hands down. While I wish Yu would ink his recent art, this piece is better visually just in pencils. Congrats my friend.

i usually associate Leinil's vers. of Wolverine with Savagery and tons of blood.... but man this is just a gorgeous Cover....Congrats!
