Description

Artwork for a theater poster or handbill for The Players of Sarasota, drawn in 1959. Hamlin's of course most well known for his Alley Oop, but this is a really nice piece, even featuring a cave man and characters from historical/fairy tale settings. Hamlin spent a lot of time in Sarasota and this comes from the estate of a guy who worked for The Players, but I have no idea if the play even reached the stage (in Sarasota, that is). Any input would be more than welcome.
