Hey, these are so cool! I wasn't even aware that someone other than Dell produced Cisco Kid comics with painted covers. Are these also from the 1950's?

Many of the original Dell comics were reprinted in the UK by World Distributors Ltd. (WDL)/Pembertons. These featured the original US stories (reprinted in glorious black & white) with new painted covers - most drawn by WDL company artist Walter (Walt) Howarth. Such titles included: Cisco Kid, John Wayne, Roy Rogers, Maverick, Sugarfoot (Tenderfoot in UK), Cheyenne, Wagon Train, Laramie, etc etc.
