Description

Strangehaven is a largely undiscovered gem of the comic book world, first arriving on the scene in the mid-90s at a time when black and white independent books were thriving. The story centers around a fellow named Alex Hunter, who narrowly avoids hitting a woman in the road, crashing his car. When he wakes he finds himself in the small town of Strangehaven. Odd things ensue.

The book is loaded with interesting characters. The art is quirky, well-suited for the book and improves with every issue.

Unfortunately it has ceased publication for the time being. There are three trade paperbacks to gorge on and are still well-worth reading even without an ending. Gary Spencer Millidge intends to finish the series, I can only hope it will be sooner than later.
