Description

Since I am a total sequence person (storytelling > all) I picked up this page as well. Here we finally encounter the threat as Kitty and Broo are attacked by one of Professor Starblood's brood. It's cool to have Kid Gladiator and Warbird well and Beast, Rachel and Iceman on this page as well, though to me it's still about Kitty, Broo and the danger they are in. I do wish this form of Beast had stuck around.

Artistically speaking I have to say I am rather fond of the lighting in the first panel. Given that this page is also roughly half the size of standart comic pages it's pretty impressive to see the detail Nick manages to add and still keep everything clean and readable. I will admit at this point that I've not been a fan since day 1 (I usually tend to take a little time) but I also have no issue admiting when I was wrong. So not a fan since day one but most def. a fan for life.

There are also several inkers listed for this issue but since this page is in pencil I will assume they inked a blueline copy. The names listed are Norman Lee, Cam Smith, Walden Wong and Jay Leisten. Who actually inked this page, I unfortnately have no clue.

(I stole the scans from Randy's old website, but I will rescan these once I get my old scanner up and running again)
