Description

Seen here is the original cover art to "Savage Starlight #5" the fictional comic book series found in Sony and Naughty Dog's hit video game "The Last of Us." The game follows two characters as they travel through a dystopian world, and Ellie (one of the main characters) is a fan of this comic series and mentions it throughout the game. The 14 issues of the series are a collectible which players can find hidden around the game. This particular issue can be found right before players reach "Tommy's Dam," clutched near the hand of a corpse. Although the comic series is fictional, the back of the issue in the game gives a brief synopsis of the events of this issue: "The victory of the Travelers was absolute, and so too were the terms of humanity's surrender. The living flesh of every man, woman, and child left alive was claimed as the spoils of war. For how long can Daniela escape their terrible grasp?"

I think this is probably as close as you can come to owning a prop from a video game.
