Description

A grail piece of O'Neill art. He's a superb colourist and I really wanted a colour piece for the collection; so here it is (and I got a little knocked off the price too). The 1985 annual is a stone-cold classic; Bellardelli Slaine, Bellardelli interview, master class from Ian Gibson, Tharg photostrip etc etc.

I love that the phantom of the Grandmaster of Termight is presented completely deadpan: no explanation necessary (of course Torquemada would write out the contents page to the Annual! Why wouldn't he?).

We all knew then that 2000AD was an elite and exclusive club. If you didn't know that character then you had no business reading ANY further...

Another cracking piece, Ben - prime O'Neill goodness, as good as 2000AD artwork gets! I was wondering where this one had gone to; good to see it's found a good home.

Incredible piece, hard to get hold of a painted O'Neill piece, let alone one as staggeringly gorgeous as this one.
