Description

This is a lovely and huge cover for the original TMNT series Issue 23. Painted by Mark Martin and showing Splinter fighting Gnatrat.

Not only is this a wonderful piece of art, it also happens to be the cover to the first (along with issue 22) issue of TMNT that I ever bought. As a kid I was a TMNT nut and this is the story that started it. It is still my favourite TMNT story and as you can tell from my collection, I have quite a few pages from it.

I am always happy to hear from anyone wanting to sell any other pages from his TMNT stories.

Apologies for the poor quality photo - I will try to get a better one soon!

Color me jealous! I hoped to one day own this myself, as it was the cover to my first Mirage TMNT comic. I did get a great painting from Mark myself, though. His style is so fresh & fun. Full of personality. Congrats on the pickup!
