oh man... i remember pulling sandman 1 off a rack at the newstand and opening the book up to reveal page 1... then buying the comic, rolling it up in my back pocket and skateboarding home to dive into kirby's newest creation. i don't remember much about the book other than this first page and the cover, but both certainly left a huge impression, and when i saw this page was available, i was determined to own it. super thanks to marco ravetto for a fair and easy deal.

Holy Cow Steve! You've been adding great stuff lately but a page from Sandman 1 is going to be real hard to beat. Congrats!!!

I think you can guess my general opinion on this page. It is like a delicious chocolate crunch bar with bits of toffee and toasted almond, and the classic logo of the manufacturer embossed in the perfect lactic smoothness of the bar, the which to lightly brush your fingers over as you part the foil wrappings, in... THE STRANGE WORLD OF YOUR DREAMS
