Descriptionso happy i won this page off comiclink and so happy its un-kirby-esque nature left me with little competition. for me, it is the minimal arrangement of lines and spaces without any filled in forms that offers a relatively different kirby (for even in the similar pages from the regular 2001 issues, the re-birth passages are much more familiar looking). but here, even the colors on the printed page are a simple arrangement of pastels - yellows, grays and blues. the dialogue is pure cosmic kirby, and a beautiful thing; and here jack is certainly showing off his delicate moves. giacoia's inks seem to work perfectly here - allowing the cosmic re-birth to feel like a whisper...Social/Sharing |
