Description

Here is one of the early James Bama Doc Savage cover paintings, issue #7 "The Monsters" This painting was larger than most of Bama's Doc Savage covers measuring 16"x22". It is also noteworthy that this is one of few Bama covers which was inspired by the original pulp cover art by Walter Baumhofer. Proud to have it in my collection.

I was starting to think there were no more Bama Doc Savage paintings out there. Congratulations. That image is on a boxed set I have that once belonged to Forest Ackerman. Still sealed. A fan favorite.

Back in my more optimistic days, I loosely ranked all of my favorite Bama Doc Savage covers in case an original surfaced. The Monsters is in my top five. An absolutely killer original!
