Description

While I am a big Fables fan, Jack is by far my least favorite character. I was glad when he got his own book because then he would be out of the regular Fables book. I know his personality was supposed to be cocky but charming, but no, I just found him annoying.

I do however really like Andrew Robinson. I love his style and sense of design and the energy in his pieces. He's sort of like Eric Canete, I've yet to see a piece by either of them that I didn't like. So while I wish this would have been a painting of Boy Blue, it was still too nice to pass up.

I will update the scan with a better one soon (the piece is 20 by 30) but for now, this photo will have to suffice.

I don't read the book and I have no idea who any of the characters are, so I am looking at this on a purely artistic level. Love the colors and love Andrew's style also. Great piece Anna!

Fables is great book which is unfortuately ending in 2015. But with this piece, yes the main reason I picked it up (besides the really really good price) is the fact that it's Andrew Robinson. He did an issue of the series and this is a bit like a mock cover for it (thus the character in the smoke and the pumpkin). I will frame this one and hang it in my hallway.

Because of what u say now I will catch up on fable and see if what you say about the character is true :)

Go for it! I am very fond of Fables and Jack does have his moments, but much like Gambit, I'm not one for cocky, self-assured characters. The book, however, is a great read!
