DescriptionALL HAIL COBRA !.THIS IS A STUNNING GI JOE PIECE.I am a huge Gi Joe fan but really have not ventured that way with comic art. Mainly because all the good stuff from childhood is way gone or too expensive.my favorites from the series were the Dreadnoks and Zartan.one day I hope to own a Mike Zeck cover.my first commission ever was a Josh Blaylock Zartan from 2006 Nycc at javits. Got two more pieces coming this week.Social/Sharing |

Yes, this appears to be a recreation of the rejected cover that Beck did for the back cover to G.I. Joe #8. The original was abandoned in detailed pencil form. Beck told me that Hasbro rejected this version because the angle of the Baroness' hips was too suggestive. Poor guy had to completely redraw it. Both look great, but I liked the movement in this version. Nice to see what it would have looked like if it had been finished.
