Description

This is a cel from "Prehistoric Pink" shown in Episode 6 of the first season the Pink Panther was on television (1969).

A show of hands on this...how many of you started running through that infectious theme song upon seeing this image. Ba-dump-ba-dummmmmmmm (chk pause chk pause) / Ba-dump-ba-dummmmmmm. I do. EVERY SINGLE TIME! I'm doing it now. (Thank you, Henry Mancini!)

Much like the classic silent movie comedies, this classic cartoon was able to bring laughs without uttering a word. I wasn't fond of the laugh-track they used but it generally didn't matter because I was laughing the whole time on my own anyway.
