Description

The original cover for Nova #18 was a let down for me as a kid. Carmine Infantino did not impress me back then,although I grew to like his work as I got older. I really wanted to get a fresh take on this one and Andy Fish delivered the goods. I really like how menacing the nightmare creatures look in this compared to the original(posted below). Nick Fury takes more of the cover than the original as well. My favorie part is how creepy The Yellow Claw looks in this,almost Universal Monsters scary!

Andy was a pleasure to work with and his turn around time was lightning quick. Andy can be commissioned through e-bay or through his website. I think this guy is a rising star!

Love the Ditko-esque surrealism and the chamber-of-horrors vibe in this one, Rob. Andy certainly turned the volume up on the creepy aesthetic. Well done, gents!
