Description

Thrilled to meet Mike Dringenberg in Seattle in March of 2013. I remember buying Sandman as it was coming out, enjoying both the Neil Gaiman stories and the interesting art that accompanied it. The book came along right at a time when my eyes were being opened to what the medium of comics was really capable of, so Dringenberg was at the forefront of that. Terrific talking with him, and watching him work on pieces while at his table. He did this nice little sketch of Dream for me in my Season Of Mists Hardcover, which also contains drawings obtained over the years at shows by Matt Wagner, George Pratt, and Gaiman himself. And yes, it was March of 2013, even though Dringenberg appears to have dated it 2012. Morpheus can manipulate time.
